This project develops proprietary molecular emitters to foster sustainable development of OLED technology by reducing reliance on rare-metal iridium phosphors. The team aims to achieve stable, efficient full-color phosphorescent and metal-TADF emitters, which remain a prominent focus in OLED industry. Notably, high-efficiency and operationally stable phosphorescent blue OLED emitters aren't yet commercially available. The team is also developing orange-red to near-infrared emitters, whose corresponding OLEDs have promising applications in biomedical wearable devices.
