Circulating Thrombospondin-2 (TSP2) - A Novel Fibrosis Biomarker for Patients with Type 2 Diabetes and Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease

(内容请参阅英文版)

This project offers a simple blood test to detect dangerous liver scarring (fibrosis) early in patients with Type 2 diabetes and fatty liver disease. By measuring a specific protein (Thrombospondin-2), it replaces invasive biopsies. This painless, cost-effective solution enables timely treatment and better health outcomes. With millions at risk globally, this test has significant potential to become a standard tool in preventive healthcare for metabolic disorders.
